ISV Built Onboarding Guide

The purpose of this guide is to outline the requirements for onboarding merchants via our API. This guide details the information that needs to be included when your merchants sign up to Access PaySuite via a journey you design. Following this guide ensures your merchants know what to expect at every stage of the process.

Principles

As you are assisting Access PaySuite to onboard new merchants, you need to ensure that the journey you create is:

Privacy Policy

The below wording must be presented to merchants before any information to be shared with Access Paysuite is captured.

This must be prominently displayed.

“We will share your information with Access PaySuite, the payment facilitator.  By providing us with your information, you agree to the terms Access Paysuite’s Privacy Policy which can be found here:  https://www.accesspaysuite.com/privacy-and-legal/privacy-policy/”

Capturing Information

While we may permit limited information to be hard coded (provided without merchant input), it is essential that merchants complete the following details themselves:

Terms and Conditions & Merchant Agreement

All merchants must download the Merchant Agreement and confirm they have read and understood the agreement via a tickbox.  Merchants will not be able to apply unless this has been agreed to.

The wording of the box should be as below:

“I am duly authorised by the customer to accept the terms of the Agreement, and hereby legally bind the customer to the terms of the agreement.

Access Paysuite Ltd are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 730815)”

Once the merchant has completed the application, you will need to advise them of the requirement for identity verification.  The wording below should be included to signpost this:

“An email/SMS will be sent to the beneficial owner(s) of your company from Access Paysuite’s verification partner, NorthRow. This will contain a link to complete the verification process.  You will be required to upload a photo ID, such as a passport or driver's license and complete a few personal details.

NorthRow will also take a biometric facial scan, this will be matched to the photo ID uploaded.

Your application will only be approved once you have successfully completed these steps”

Once the application has been submitted, we may require further information.

In some instances, we may communicate directly with the merchant.

Review

Prior to onboarding any merchants, we will review your journey and provide any feedback if changes are required.

Please contact your account manager as soon as you have completed the design to allow this to be reviewed and avoid any potential delays.
